"During the past few years, I had been eating out of boredom and stress. In the past couple of years, a lot of people noticed that I gained quite a bit of weight. Along with that, the doctor's check up showed that I had a higher cholesterol level. I decided to go on an exercise program to help lower my cholesterol and lose weight.
I have gained quite a bit of confidence in myself. With that, my family and friends say that I look healthier which boosts my confidence even more. My key motivation is to keep healthy. I believe this will help in reducing medical bills in the future. If I set goals, I feel that I am keeping a promise to myself to get better, and failing in that promise would be a letdown to me ... . As a result, I fit into pants a lot better and feel better about myself."
